Sources tell NY1 a tentative state budget deal has been reached in Albany ahead of tomorrow's deadline.
Some of the big ticket items in the framework deal are a minimum wage increase to $15 an hour in the city within a three year timetable, a paid family leave bill and a tax cut package sought by Senate Republicans.
Under the terms, that income tax cut will go to people making up to $300,000 per year.
On-time budgets have been a huge priority for Governor Andrew Cuomo in his effort to restore confidence in Albany.
This is closer than Cuomo has usually come to the April 1 budget deadline during his administration.
The official announcement is expected later today.
