One shop in Brooklyn is giving New Yorkers the feel of a tattoo, without the pain or the commitment.

Tattly Temporary Tattoo Parlor in Boerum Hill has the look and feel of an authentic tattoo shop, but the ink is not permanent.

The tattoos are applied on the skin by using a sponge and water, and usually last two to five days.

But these aren't like the ordinary temporary tattoos you might have worn as a kid.

"We license all our tattoo designs from professional artists, designers, illustrators, painters so if you look on the back of each tattoo you see the artist name, they get full credit and we pay them a royalty with every tattoo we sell with their name on it," said Tattly Store Manager Hans Hendley.

"I started researching what it takes to make temporary tattoos and I went to town. I asked my designer friends and my artist friends to come up with cool tattoos, and two months later we launched Tattly," said Tattly Tattos Owner Tina Roth Eisenberg.

The pop up shop is open until February 28.
