A cow that escaped a market in Queens and enjoyed a brief taste of freedom Thursday finds a new home.

Freddie is now living at the Skylands Animal Sanctuary and Rescue in Wantage, New Jersey.

The breakout bovine was scheduled to be slaughtered when he escaped from the Halal Live Poultry market on 165th Street and Archer Avenue, according to police, and was later seen running down Jamaica Avenue.

If you are interested in helping cover the costs of his care, you can donate to the rescue group. Visit their website at skylandssanctuary.org for more information.
