The NYPD is hoping a selfie can help them find the man who stole a phone out of a man's hands on a subway train in Brooklyn.

Police are looking for the man seen in the selfie.

They say he grabbed the phone from a 36-year old train rider before running out of a south bound Q train.

It happened at the Beverly Road station in East Flatbush on October 24 at around 5:45 p.m.

Police say the man later took this picture on the stolen phone which was synced to the victim's Google account.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call Crimestoppers by calling 1-800-577-TIPS, by texting TIP577 to CRIMES, or by going to NYPDCrimeStoppers.com.
