Police say a 16-year-old girl is dead after being shot in the mouth in the Bronx.
Police say the teenager was visiting a friend or family member at an apartment on East 171st Street near College Avenue in Mount Eden shortly after 6 p.m. Thursday when she was shot in the mouth.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have been made.
