Police have arrested a man who they say ran a red light, causing an MTA bus to crash into a house in Queens and injure a dozen people.

The MTA says the Q113 bus was driving along Guy Brewer Boulevard in Springfield Gardens around 9:45 p.m. Saturday when it collided with a car going in the opposite direction.

Police say the bus was trying to swerve away from a car driven by 24-year-old Chevon Parchment that was allegedly running the light.

They say the bus then hit two parked cars before crashing into the house at the intersection of South Conduit Avenue and Guy Brewer Boulevard.

The 12 people, including the bus driver, were taken to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.

Parchment faces charges of reckless endangerment, fleeing an officer in a motor vehicle and possession of a controlled substance, among other charges.
