One Mets employee has been around for all their World Series wins. Now he's hoping for another one against the Royals.

Luke Gasparre has worked as an usher for the Mets since their old home Shea Stadium opened in 1964.

The 91-year-old now greets guests in section 310 at Citi Field, 52 years later.

Gasparre says one of his craziest memories is from when the team won the World Series in 1986.

"These three girls, after the last out, they ran over to me, put their arms under my leg, put me on their shoulders and I got so scared and they turned me around, they took my hat, they took my jacket. I said lucky thing you're not taking my pants! Thank god I have a belt on."

Gasparre is also a decorated World War II veteran.

He's been honored with a purple heart and a bronze star.

Next month, he'll be recognized by the French government for his service at the French Embassy in Manhattan.
