Some four-legged Mets fans are also celebrating the team's World Series run.

Rescue Dogs Rock and Shelter Chic teamed up with the Suffolk County SPCA to put on the Mets World Series Puppy Parade.

The pups donned blue and orange Mets gear and walked through TriBeCa to cheer on the team and promote pet adoption in the city.

"There's nothing more important than our Mets right now today, and then the animals. And on a day like today, the animals are forgotten because everyone's thinking about the series. So generally, we're expecting that we'll have 20 percent of fewer adoptions today," said Jean Shafiroff, organizer of the puppy parade.

The groups rescue puppies and dogs from high-kill shelters, owner surrenders, puppy mills and abusive owners.
