A Chinese immigrant has been sentenced to life behind bars for murdering five of his relatives, including four children, with a meat clever in Brooklyn.
Mingdong Chen, 27, was sentenced to 125 years to life in prison after pleading guilty to the 2013 attack on his cousin's wife and her four kids in Sunset Park. The children's ages were 9, 7, 5 and 18 months.
Prosecutors say Chen was found dripping in blood after slashing the victims' throats.
He had been fired from a string of restaurant jobs and told investigators he envied the success of his relatives, who were also Chinese immigrants.
