A bunch of tug boats took a break from pulling to push for a victory at the 23rd annual Tug Boat race on the Hudson River.
The race took place at Pier 84 near 44th Street and Twelfth Avenue.
The boats paraded up the Hudson River and then raced back down.
Aside from being fun to watch, the event highlights how important the boats are to city life.
