Police have arrested the man accused in a deadly fight in a subway station.

Police say 57-year-old David Green of the Bronx and 51-year-old Alfredo Ramos of New Jersey got into a fight on a platform inside the Essex Street and Delancey Street train station on Friday, August 28.

During the fight, investigators say Green punched Ramos several times, leading to Ramos hitting his head on the platform.

Ramos' skull was fractured by the blow, causing brain injuries.

He died in the hospital on Thursday.

Green faces a charge of manslaughter in Ramos' death.
