Investors are hoping for a stronger day on Wall Street after stocks tumbled across the board yesterday.

The Dow closed down 469 points.

The NASDAQ fell 140.

And the S&P 500 dropped 58.

It was the third worst performing day of the year for the Dow and the S&P.

And it came just a day after stocks closed out their worst month in more than three years.

The plunge happened after new data indicated that China's manufacturing hit at a three year low, a sign that economy is slowing more than first thought.

Asian markets saw volatile trading today, with China's Shanghai Composite Index opening 4-point-4 percent lower before rallying.
