A community group is giving local kids a taste of entertainment from the past.
Sunnyside Gardens Park will host it's 5th annual Flicks in the Garden Saturday.
Each year organizers showcase cartoons from a different era.
This year, a live jazz band will play along with the cartoons.
The film selections include movies from the silent and early sound era.
"It's really exciting to see how kids connect to something that's old and that they're delighted by it as much as some of the other generations," said Co-Organizer Tammy Arnstein.
The free event starts at 5pm but there is a suggested donation of $10.
