The clock is ticking for those waiting to see if they'll get a chance to attend the pope's procession.

Mayor Bill de Blasio says more than 93,000 people entered a lottery to see Pope Francis ride through Central Park on September 25.

Eighty thousand will win tickets. Some are already being notified.

In a statement, the mayor said, "The overwhelming response we received from New Yorkers throughout the state made clear: Pope Francis is one of the world’s most important voices, and his historic visit to New York City will be an unforgettable experience."

Meanwhile, the Port Authority is urging you to use mass transit if you're heading to the procession. There will be numerous street closings that may cause traffic congestion and pedestrian diversions in various parts of the city.
