The 23-year-old woman who escaped from the NYPD over the weekend is now back in police custody.

Police say 23-year-old Tiffany Neumann was arrested on the Upper West Side Tuesday morning.

Back on Sunday night, investigators say she slipped out of New York Presbyterian Hospital on William Street in Lower Manhattan.

She was arrested earlier that day for petit larceny, theft of service and criminal possession of stolen property.

Sources tell NY1 officers took Neumann to the hospital because she complained of bruising and said she was pregnant.

They say it turns out she is not expecting a child.

An NYPD officer has been suspended as a result of the escape.
