The U.S. Open officially starts Monday, and all eyes are on Serena Williams.

The number 1 ranked tennis star is set to compete against the world's top players over the next two weeks in Flushing.

It could be a history-making tournament for Williams. If she wins, she will become the first player since 1998 to win all four grand slam tournaments in the same year.

The excitement for Williams is so high that tickets for the women's single finals sold out before the men's.

Players from more than 60 countries are set to compete in this year's U.S. Open.
