Something fishy is going on at The Battery.

The SeaGlass carousel officially opens today after a sneak preview on Wednesday.

Riders spin around a nautical-themed shell on one of 30 colorful fish.

The attraction is a throwback to when The Battery hosted the original New York Aquarium.

"What you'll see when you ride is you are one of those fish. You sit inside the body of the fish. You are moving as a fish will in water," said Battery Conservancy President Warrie Price.

The carousel costs $5 a ride and is open seven days a week.
