Police are on the hunt for a man who is accused of sexually assaulting a 7-year-old girl on Staten Island.
Investigators say Daniel Nieto, 32, broke into the child's home shortly before 3 a.m. on August 6 and was caught by the victim's family as he was trying to leave.
He was arrested and charged with trespassing, and was released after his arraignment.
But the next night, the girl told police that Nieto had assaulted her while inside the home.
Nieto was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, a black vest jacket, brown pants and brown shoes.
