The city will pay more than $330,000 to six Occupy Wall Street protesters who accused police of unjustly blasting them with pepper spray.

Video shows police officer Anthony Bologna spraying protesters back in September 2011.

The images helped galvanize the Occupy movement.

Lawyers from both sides say the settlements are in the range of $52- to $60,000 per person.

The Department of Law says settling was in the city's best interest.

Bologna was found to have violated police department guidelines. He was docked 10 vacation days.
