Police are investigating after four people were injured when an ambulance overturned in Brooklyn.

Fire officials say the FDNY vehicle collided with a car at Tillary Street and Adams Street in Downtown Brooklyn just before 5:30 p.m. Friday.

Two EMS workers were seriously injured in the crash.

"There was a group of emergency vehicles around another emergency vehicle," a witness said. "It had been flipped over on, I want to say its left side, completely balanced on its left side, and it was just lying there."

Investigators say the injuries are not life-threatening.
