A Brooklyn woman is charged with murder in the 2013 death of her newborn son.

The Manhattan District Attorney's office on Thursday said Tiona Rodriguez, 18, was indicted on second degree murder charges.

This comes nearly two years after security guards at a Victoria's Secret in Midtown found the body of Rodriguez's baby inside her bag.

He was born the day before.

Security guards had stopped Rodriguez and a friend for shoplifting when they found the newborn.

Last year, the medical examiner ruled the baby's death a homicide by asphyxiation.

Prosecutors say Rodriguez suffocated the baby.

But her lawyer says the baby was stillborn.
