The New York City Police Department says it's prepared to keep the city safe as millions of people are expected to gather along the East River Saturday night for the 39th annual Macy's Fourth of July fireworks show.
This is the second year in a row that the fireworks will go off over the East River.
They were moved from the Hudson River last year.
The fireworks are being set off from barges near Midtown and near the South Street Seaport.
While there is no specific terror threat against the city, the NYPD says New Yorkers will see a major police presence.
"Almost 7,000 people, I think, in total will be working security around this event. So there's no city that can put on an event like this and as safely as we believe we'll be able to do it," Police Commissioner William Bratton told reporters this week.
The show on Saturday begins around 9:20 p.m.

Even though the Fourth of July is Saturday, the holiday is being observed Friday in many places.
And that means some closures and service changes around the city.
All city government offices are closed along with libraries, courts and public schools.
Post offices are open and mail will be delivered.
Alternate side parking rules are suspended and drivers do not have to feed the parking meters.
Garbage and recycling pickup is going on as scheduled.
As for mass transit, subways, buses and Metro-North are running on a Saturday schedule.
Long Island Rail Road and the Staten Island Railway are running on normal Friday schedules.
