A worker is recovering after falling off a ladder Monday morning while doing construction on the Second Avenue subway.
It happened just after 7:30 a.m. at Second Avenue and East 69th Street in Manhattan.
MTA officials say he fell roughly 15 feet from the ladder, hitting his head and injuring his shoulder.
He was conscious when he taken to the hospital.
Construction work has since resumed at the site.
