Police have arrested the man suspected of raping an 82-year-old woman in her Brooklyn home earlier this week.

Asa Robert, 18, was captured in Bedford-Stuyvesant early Friday morning.

Police say he entered the victim's home Monday while she was sweeping the street, and then attacked her when she came back inside.

Robert also demanded money at knifepoint, and stayed in the home for several hours before leaving with the woman's umbrella and a bag of clothes.

Police say he has eight prior arrests, including one for robbery.
