Investigators say it happened just after 2 p.m. at the Santander Bank on Broadway in Astoria.

Police say the man gave one of the tellers a note demanding cash.

He then made off with over $1,200 in cash and took off westbound on Broadway.

Police describe the man as clean shaven and was last seen wearing a grey hoodie.
