The couple whose wedding day was ruined by a gun going off in a Manhattan hotel earlier this month is now suing.

Newlyweds Anna Goldshmidt and Elan Stratiyevsky are suing the Waldorf Astoria hotel for reimbursement after their pricey wedding reception was shut down.

The hotel made the decision after a gun belonging to the groom's cousin - Vladimir Gotlibovsky - went off in his pocket on June 13.

Four people were injured, including a woman who was grazed in the head by the bullet.

Charges against Gotlibovsky have been deferred.

A spokesperson for the iconic hotel said the wedding was shut down out of concern for guest safety.
