Friends and family will gather on Long Island later this week to remember NYPD Officer Brian Moore, who was shot over the weekend and died on Monday.

A wake for the 25-year-old is set for Thursday at the Chapey and Sons Funeral Home in Bethpage.

Moore's funeral is Friday morning at 11 a.m. at the St. James Roman Catholic Church in Seaford.

Moore was taken off of life support Monday afternoon, two days after he was shot.

Police say Demetrius Blackwell opened fire on Moore and his partner when they drove up to him because they suspected he had a gun.

Blackwell is now charged with first degree murder.

Moore was honored before Tuesday night's game between the Mets and Orioles at Citi Field.

His photo was shown on the scoreboard.

NYPD officers lined up on the field and a moment of silence was held.

Moore was an Orioles fan and was supposed to attend the game.
