Excitement is mounting for Rangers fans ahead of Game 7 of the Eastern Conference final at Madison Square Garden.

If the Rangers beat Tampa Bay Lightning Friday night, they will get the chance to play for the Stanley Cup.

The puck drops at 8 p.m.

The Blueshirts managed to stay alive during Game 6 on Tuesday with a 7-3 win.

Game 7 will be the fifth time this post-season that the Rangers have faced elimination.

The Rangers have an excellent record of accomplishment when it comes to facing elimination in Game 7. They are 7-0 all-time in Game 7 playoff games played at MSG.

“We want the cup,” said one Rangers fan.

“We are very good in Game 7, so let’s keep  the streak going,” said another.

Meanwhile, the Western Conference final will also be decided in Game 7. Anaheim Ducks will play against the Chicago Blackhawks in Southern California on Saturday night.
