Police are looking for the hit-and-run driver who struck a man in the Bronx.

The New York Post has identified the victim as Robert Ray.

He was hit by a car at the Grand Concourse and East 182nd Street shortly after 9 p.m. Thursday.

The driver fled the scene, and Ray was taken to the hospital in serious condition.

Ray is reportedly a former MTA motorman involved in a deadly subway crash more than 20 years ago.

Back in August 1991, he was at the controls of a number 4 train that derailed near Union Square.

Five people were killed.

Ray was drunk at the time, and spent 10 years in prison on a manslaughter conviction.
