Eight Red Cross Volunteers from NYC to Support Texas, Oklahoma Flood Relief Efforts

Texas and Oklahoma are getting some New York assistance as they recover from severe flooding.

Large parts of the two states have been hit with devastating storms, killing more than a dozen and forcing thousands from their homes.

Now, eight Red Cross volunteers, part of the FDNY Disaster Assistance Response Team, are headed south to support relief efforts.

The volunteers will deliver supplies to storm-affected communities in both Houston and Oklahoma City.
