Police are searching for three people in connection with a deadly hit and run in East Harlem last night.

Investigators say a Mercedes struck a number of construction barriers on East 129th Street before rear-ending a bicyclist at Park Avenue.

The 42-year-old cyclist died at the scene.

Police say the car then drove the wrong way down Madison Avenue, and down East 128th Street before hitting another car that was stopped at a red light.

The driver and his two passengers got out of the car and ran off.

Sources say the driver was trying to evade a group of court officers who had seen him run a red light earlier in the Bronx.
