A new office tower is coming to Midtown, right next to Grand Central Terminal.
The City Council has approved rezoning plans for the 63-story building called One Vanderbilt.
The skyscraper will be 1,500 feet tall and sit between between East 42nd and 43rd Streets.
One Vanderbilt's realtor says the project will create 5,200 construction jobs and 190 permanent union jobs.
Construction is expected to start immediately and be done by 2021.
