Enrollment for the mayor's universal pre-K program is off to a good start.

Mayor Bill de Blasio's office says that about 51,000 families signed up in the first three weeks of enrollment.

That's about the total number of kids who were signed up when the program first kicked off last year.

The administration's goal for September is to have 70,000 kids enrolled in all-day pre-K.

Enrollment ends on April 24.
