Police are searching for a hit-and-run driver who killed a pedestrian Wednesday night in Queens.
Investigators say the 61-year-old man was crossing 46th Avenue midblock near Utopia Parkway in Auburndale around 11:30 p.m.
He was hit by an unknown car which fled the scene.
The victim was found unconscious with severe head trauma and was taken to Flushing Hospital where he died.
