Police have arrested a man for allegedly killing a woman at a Staten Island hotel.
Derekson Lett, 26, is charged with second degree murder.
Investigators say he shot 21-year-old Michelle Hernandez-Vasquez once in the head at the Cosmopolitan Hotel on April 4.
Witnesses say a man knocked on the door to the room where she was staying, and there was a physical altercation before the shooting.
It's unclear what led to the incident.
