Police say a domestic dispute led a man to shoot his wife and stepdaughter before hanging himself in Queens.

It happened around 8 p.m. at an apartment located at 60-59 Gates Avenue in Ridgewood.

They say the 65-year-old man and his 54-year-old wife were talking about a divorce when he pulled a gun and opened fire.

The wife was shot in the back.

The man's 34-year-old stepdaughter was shot in the arm.

The stepdaughter's boyfriend rushed both women out of the house, and they are now recovering.

The shooter barricaded himself inside the home for about an hour before police found him dead.

Police say there were no previous incidents of domestic problems in the home.
