The city fire department is trying to figure out what sparked a house fire that killed a man in Queens early Wednesday morning.
Flames broke out around 1 a.m. in the attic of a home located at 9453 Lefferts Boulevard in South Richmond Hill.
After putting the fire out, firefighters found an unconscious man inside the home.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators say the fire may have been deliberately set.
