The Taxi and Limousine Commission is trying to get drivers to be more cautious in pedestrian zones.

"Drive like your sister lives here. Drive like your partner lives here. Drive like your brother lives here," people are seen saying in a new video.

The 15-minute video features interviews with the grieving family members of pedestrians killed in traffic accidents is now part of the TLC's training program.

It will be required viewing for cab drivers, the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, and other city workers behind the wheel.

The video was created in conjunction with the mayor's Vision Zero action plan to reduce traffic related fatalities.
