City daredevils beware.

Local elected officials are calling for an increase in penalties to try to stop trespassing on bridges.

State Senator Daniel Squadron, Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams and Assemblyman Joseph Lentol announced Tuesday that they're signing on to a bill introduced last year.

They say the Critical Safety Act, introduced in November, will fill a gap in state law.

If passed, the bill would charge anyone who trespasses on significant infrastructure with a Class A misdemeanor.

The announcement comes just days after Brooklyn's RFK Triborough Bridge and the Queensboro Bridge were scaled by the same person.

On Monday, the renegade climber, who calls himself @icarus_nyc on Instagram, posted photos from the very top of the 59th Street Bridge.

Officials say there have been multiple security breaches of city bridges in the past 12 months.
