A coyote spotted on a Queens rooftop Monday is still on the loose.
Brian Porter owns LIC Bar in Long Island City. He says he got a text letting him know the animal was on top of his garage.
A nearby veterinary technician confirmed it was a coyote.
Porter says police tried to tranquilize the animal, but it ran into a vacant building.
Animal Care and Control is investigating.
Coincidentally, the Daily News reports that a band named Coyote Anderson was booked to perform at the bar Monday night.
