A man is dead after falling from a building in Manhattan.
Police believe the man was a window washer and that he fell from the fifth floor.
It happened at a building on Greenwich Street in TriBeCa around 1 p.m. Tuesday.
"I saw a blur of a body come down," said Ori Cipollaro, a witness. "I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I really thought maybe somebody had slipped on the ice and just went up in the air, and then I looked up and I saw the window open, I ran over and I saw the squeegee on the floor, and I realized what happened to the guy."
The man's name has not yet been released.
The investigation is ongoing.
