With more winter weather heading our way, the city has issued a travel advisory for Tuesday night into Wednesday.

Snow will begin this afternoon and change over to sleet and rain overnight with a few inches of accumulation expected.

Flooding is possible with any downpours.

The city Department of Sanitation has also issued a snow alert beginning at 2 p.m. Tuesday.

The agency says it's pre-deploying 500 salt spreaders across the five boroughs to treat roadways.

The Office of Emergency Management says commuters should expect icy conditions on roads and sidewalks through Wednesday.
