President Barack Obama once lived in New York when he attended Columbia University, and now there is reportedly a good chance he could be moving back after he leaves the White House.
According to Buzzfeed News, the president and first lady Michelle Obama are considering making New York their home in a few years.
The Obamas had been widely expected to move back to their hometown of Chicago.
Sources tell Buzzfeed the Obamas are concerned about recent changes in that city.
This comes as Columbia University is bidding against Chicago for the Obama Presidential Library. A decision on the library's location is expected in the next few months.
