The popular Rockaway Taco is closing down but a new one is coming to keep surfers catching the wave during the summer.
According to the Rockaway Times, the co-owner of the seasonal joint is going solo and opening Tacoaway Beach.
Customers will be able to get on the traditionally long lines at the new location at the Rockaway Beach Surf Club on Beach 87th Street starting May 1.
Rockaway Taco has been around since 2008.
