An inspiration to some of the most famous story lines, Marvel Comics is celebrating the city's culture and iconography with a series of specialized covers.
Fifteen issues of comic books released in May will have covers featuring Marvel heroes in city life scenes. "The Guardians of the Galaxy," "Spider-Man" and the "Incredible Hulk" are just some of the characters that will be featured.
Marvel Comics has been based in the city for more than 75 years.
