We have some good news to pass along about our colleague, NY1 anchor Roma Torre.
Roma is now home from the hospital as she continues to recover from colon cancer surgery.
She emailed this picture just hours after her operation Thursday, and says the surgery went off without a hitch.
Roma was diagnosed with colon cancer in July and went public with her illness to encourage people to get colonoscopies.
Roma's doctors say she needs about four to six weeks' recovery time.
