Pothole patrols are hitting the streets across all five boroughs on Sunday.

Freezing temperatures combined with snow, ice, salt, and plows have taken a toll on roads.

To battle back, the Department of Transportation is dispatching 50 pothole patrol crews, targeting residential streets and major roadways citywide.

According to DOT numbers, workers have filled more than 96,000 potholes since mid-December
