Police are looking for a man who they say tried to rob an 11-year-old girl on a Queens street.
The robbery attempt happened near Ditmars Boulevard and 28th Street in Astoria on the morning of January 20.
Investigators say the man approached the girl and tried to grab her cell phone, but she pulled it back.
She started screaming and the man ran away.
The girl was not hurt.
