The Port Authority says a majority of departing and arriving flights at LaGuardia, JFK and Newark are now on time.

The airlines had to reschedule thousands of flights due to the snow.

But, not everyone was happy about it.

"It's frustrating for myself because I came here to work and I couldn't do so, and it's frustrating for the passengers because they're trying to get home—some to their family members, some to work even," says American Airlines employee Ciara Hall.

"Truthfully, airing on the side of caution I think was better. I think the best thing in the world was that they got all of the roads cleared by getting everybody off," says traveler Larry Deutsch.

If you are headed to the airport, you should still call ahead to secure your travel plans.
