Ford is issuing two recalls because of problems with door latches and seatbelts.
The first covers 2010 to 2013 cars including the Ford Tarus, the Lincoln MKS and the Police Interceptor.
Ford says a faulty door latch on the cars can become undone, allowing the doors to unlatch in a crash.
The second recall covers more than 16,000 2014 Transit Connect small vans.
